Our Ministries: The Internet
With the advent of the Internet, methods of communication were made available that could only have been dreamed of in our past. We have the ability to instantly share the truth across thousands upon thousands of miles, at a cost and efficiency that almost seems unbelievable.
The Internet is a powerful tool and it is our solid conviction that as we put God first, not allowing our own decisions to be made, but looking to Him for guidance and direction, that the Internet can be used as a wonderful means of proclaiming the truths of the gospel.
The peace and solitude of the Samana Mission provides an atmosphere where our thoughts can be lifted up above the things of this earth and not so readily distracted by the things of the world. It is in just such an environment that we're blessed to work.
One of the goals of this ministry is to provide our Seventh-Day Adventist brethren, especially young people who have a desire to use their talents and abilities for God, the opportunity to do so without the pressures of the world.
Our Internet Ministries include:
Samana Mission Course Material - The material for each of our ministry programs will be readily available online for those interested in reading the material for themselves or to use it in their own programs to share with others.
Online Cook Book - Delicious recipes to encourage healthy eating will be made available to all those who have an interest.
Online Bible Studies - In conjunction with our Bible Bookmarkers, we will be sharing complete Bible studies over the internet, linked to from each of the Bookmarks. (Visit our products page for more details)
A Website for the Healing of our Church - The things we don't want to talk about are the very things that must be brought forward. This website will be aplace to address the current hot potatoes and accusations against the church by reformers that have left the ranks as well as the compromises being made by our church. This Church goes through. The Church militant becomes the Church Triumphant through the sighing and crying of her watchmen and the character of Christ perfected in her. Though we are tried, we must remain faithful and stay on the narrow course where Christ has led the way. The bands that hold us together must be bands of love! There are so many that feel they have no place to go. This website is to be a place of practical hope.
